Nomination for the 2020 BFA National Executive Committee

BFA Elections Nominations

The Botswana Football Association Electoral Committee hereby publishes the 2020 Botswana Football Association National Executive Committee election candidates.  For purposes of appeals, attention is directed to the following articles in the BFA Electoral Code:

Article 12.2
Any appeal, with its reasons, shall be sent by registered post or delivered in exchange for confirmation of receipt to the general secretariat of the BFA and received by the BFA within four (4) days of receipt by the candidates of the electoral committee’s decision

Article 12.3
Appeals shall be considered by the election appeal committee within four (4) days of their receipt by the general secretariat of the BFA.

Article 12.4
The decision of the election appeal committee are final and may not be monitored by any government body.

Effectively appeals, if any, should be filed within four (4) days of the date of this communication; by end of business on Monday 27 July 2020.

For expediency the appeals should be directed to the BFA Secretary General.

BFA Conducts CAF C Coaching Course In Jwaneng

The Botswana Football Association (BFA) has commenced a CAF C coaching course at Jwaneng Mine, aimed at enhancing the coaching skills of local football practitioners. The course will be conducted in two phases, with the first phase running from January 13 to 20, 2025, and the second phase scheduled for March 10 to 17, 2025.

Under the guidance of experienced instructors Mr. Ditiro Motshegare and Mr. Phalalo Nketsang, along with course coordinator Mr. Morake Lengwadibe, the course aims to equip 30 participants with essential skills and knowledge for coaching.

Jwaneng Mine is hosting the course, providing a vital platform for local coaching development. This initiative highlights the BFA’s commitment to strengthening football coaches across the country.
