Mpatane ignites massive interest on the International scene

Botswana Football Association wishes to congratulate Communications officers Mr Tumo Mpatane on his appointment as the Media Officer for the 2019 COSAFA Under-20 final match between host Zambia and Defending champion South Africa.

Mpatane has been in Zambia for the duration of the tournament and has created enthusiasm amongst his peers with his outstanding overhaul PR acumen.

His performances has not gone unnoticed and executive management was quick to encumber Tumo with the huge responsibilities as the media officer for both Semifinals and Finals representing Cosafa and the BFA at the highest levels possible.

The responsibilities bestowed on Tumo is indicative of not only his personal acumen and ability but also highlights the contribution that the BFA has contributed to enriching and enhancing football administration in Botswana.

BFA Conducts CAF C Coaching Course In Jwaneng

The Botswana Football Association (BFA) has commenced a CAF C coaching course at Jwaneng Mine, aimed at enhancing the coaching skills of local football practitioners. The course will be conducted in two phases, with the first phase running from January 13 to 20, 2025, and the second phase scheduled for March 10 to 17, 2025.

Under the guidance of experienced instructors Mr. Ditiro Motshegare and Mr. Phalalo Nketsang, along with course coordinator Mr. Morake Lengwadibe, the course aims to equip 30 participants with essential skills and knowledge for coaching.

Jwaneng Mine is hosting the course, providing a vital platform for local coaching development. This initiative highlights the BFA’s commitment to strengthening football coaches across the country.
