BFA and Baboneng make history

Botswana Football Association and Baboneng Film Productions made history by launching the first ever broadcasting of First Division live matches in Botswama. Baboneng Film Production, through Maru TV, will broadcast live both the Debswana First Division Leagues (North & South). The partnership runs for 5 years for the value of P9,000,000.00 and gives Baboneng the TV and Radio rights, print media and Internet rights and branding the stadium during games.

This partnership is inline with BFA’s Youth Policy, which takes the player development seriously. The BFA understand that First Division has become an outstanding place for young players to develop over the past few years. With more minutes on offer and football at a higher level than ever before, it’s a good time to be a youngster in Botswna’s second tier as they will not be able to display thier talent onTV across the African continent, if not the world.
